El ASO es el proceso de optimización de una aplicación móvil con el fin de conseguir aparecer en los primeros resultados de búsqueda cuando los usuarios buscan en las tiendas de aplicaciones. Cuando mayor visibilidad tenga una app en las tiendas de app (Apple Store o Google Play Store) más posibilidades tendrá de ser encontrada por los usuarios y por tanto de ser instalada.
De media una correcta optimización puede llegar a aumentar el número de instalaciones orgánicas de una aplicación entre un 20% y un 400%, por tanto vemos que el aumento de los ingresos puede ser considerable si se aplica ASO de forma correcta.

Keyword Research: En esta parte del proceso es importante conocer y analizar que búsquedas realizan los usuarios en las tiendas de apps, que palabras clave tiene la competencia para definir nuestras Keywords para nuestra aplicación. En el momento de seleccionar las Keywords debemos tener en cuenta tres factores muy importantes, el volumen aproximado de búsquedas, el numero de competencia y la dificultad a la hora de rankear
